KIKUSUI VELA is a small-scale Rotary Tablet Press. VELA is ideally suite for a wide range of Research & Development applications. Due to its unique design, very small amounts of granulation are required to produce high quality Tablet samples. It’s very compact and simple design allow for it to be used in very small areas. VELA is the one of the most unique, flexible and simple to use R & D machines available in the world today.
Product Features
It has B type keyed upper punch sockets, 5kN pre & 50kN main compression rollers, and 1.5kW electric motor. The turret speed is 10~40 rpm yielding a throughput capacity 7,200 to 28,800 (4,800 ~ 19,200) tablets/hour tablets per hour for a 12 (8) station press. The machine dimensions are approx.W700mm×D450mm×H1,200mm.
It has turret exchangeability enabling utilization of type BB, B, or D-tooling turrets on the same press.
The external finish is stainless steel. The powder/tablet contact parts are manufactured of Stainless Steel 316L with electro-polishing finish.
