AQUARIUS G-K(2L) is a newly developed removable turret Bilayer Tablet Dedicated rotary press.  This press was designed for high volume output of Bilayer tablets for the Nutraceutical and Pharmaceutical industries. Features include turret interchangeability as a standard.  All of this is built with Kikusui's rugged, reliable and compact design that has been our standard for many years.

Product Features

It has B (BB,D) type keyed upper punch sockets, 10kN 1st tamping rollers, 100kN pre & main compression rollers, and 7.5kW electric motor. The speed of the turret is 10-30 rpm yielding a throughout capacity for a 55 (67, 45) station press of 33,000 (40,200, 27,000) to 99,000 (120,600, 81,000) tablets per hour. The machine dimensions are approx. W1,258mm × D1,258mm × H2,000mm.

The external finish is stainless steel. The powder/tablet contact parts are arranged from Stainless Steel 316L with electro-polishing.
Also it provides turret changeability as standard; this feature serves to reduce product changeover time, as well as to increase the presses flexibility by allowing the use of B and D tooling on the same press.
